KCDC will hold its next business meeting on Tuesday, April 14 at 5:15 pm. This is an in-person meeting at ROCKLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY Community Room.
After the monthly business meeting, we’re pleased to welcome Garrett Martin, President and CEO of the Maine Center for Economic Policy (MECEP). Mr. Martin will provide a timely look at how recent federal economic policies are driving up costs and increasing uncertainty across our state. Featuring analysis from the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy, this talk explores how billionaire tax cuts, tariffs, and health care inaction are affecting household budgets, local economies, and inequality in Maine. Q & A to follow.
The business meeting will start at 5:15pm. Our speaker’s presentation will begin at 6:00 pm.
All Knox County Democrats and unenrolled progressives are welcome to attend KCDC meetings.
